Gratitude Blooming
These Gratitude Blooming drawings are based on 'warrior' flowers that have showed up for me over the last couple years. They feel like a reminder from nature to notice both the delicate beauty and the power of life.
Rose: Are you facing a decision right now? Try to be grateful for all the choices available to you. What does your heart want to choose?
Redwood tree: What gratitude arises when you imagine yourself grounded like a great, strong tree?
Cosmos: How can you express gratitude for the balance, and paradoxes, in your life?
Gardenia: Remember that being kind with yourself and others can be a way to show gratitude.
Pasqueflower: Notice what makes you come alive. What is something you feel called to do?
Touch-me-not: Sorrow can come from the courage to love. Acknowledge the bravery behind any sorrow you notice or feel.
Sunflowers: The root of the word reverence means to "stand in awe". What inspires awe in your life?
Daffodils: How can you express gratitude to yourself and others when experiencing endings and trust that beautiful new possibilities will be born?
Agapanthus: Pause, close your eyes and take 3 deep breaths. What do you see when you open your eyes?
Dandelion: Can you take a moment to appreciate the time and effort required to nurture the things you truly love?
Rose: Notice and give thanks to someone who has shown their vulnerability to you.
Peony: Be aware that taking the time to heal yourself is an expression of gratitude for this one wild and precious life you've been given.
